It’s rare these days for me to still discover a new great pub in London. Usually, you get a good atmosphere, but poor food and service or vice versa, some really good grub but an annoyingly unconfortable experience.
I went to The Easton on Thursday, it’s on Easton Street, somewhere hidden between Farringdon and King’s Cross. I can honestly say that this is now officially my favorite pub in London. Ok, I’ll need to go back there a couple of more times to confirm my first impression, but I simply can’t wait to do so.
The place is truly beautiful and comfortable, big open space, nothing to do with the cramped little pubs that you find all over.
The food, unexpectedly, was awesome. I only had a steak so that is not enough to judge the full menu, but trust me, that was a good steak.
